Netscape Messenger Configuration

1. Configuring Netscape to access your email account.

You need to create a "mail server" definition to access your email account.

Start up Netscape Messenger and then select Edit -> Preferences -> Mail&Newsgroups -> Mail Servers to add a new mail server. Fill in the appropriate fields using the following information:

Now select Add and fill in the following fields:

If you selected "IMAP" as your server type, fill in the following fields also:

Now click OK to exit the "Mail Server" dialog box and then click OK again to exit "Preferences".

If you selected "IMAP" as your server type, you will need to select File -> Subscribe to choose which folders you want to be visible.

2. Configuring Netscape to access folders on your Unix account.

If you wish to also store email folders on your Unix account you need to create an additional "mail server" definition to access your Unix account.

Create this additional account exactly as above except using the following information:
